Polar bears are already suffering.
birth rates are falling,
fewer cubs survive and more and more bears are drowning.
Birds are laying eggs earlier than usual,
plants are flowering earlier,
and mammals are breaking hibernation sooner.
In ten years all important animal life in the sea will be extinct.
Large areas of coastline will have to be evacuated because of the stench of dead fish.
So,
hopefully next time you are about to throw your cigarette out of the car window or throw away recyclable matter,
remember the polar bears that will soon be treading water in the Arctic Ocean,
and all of the other animals suffering because of our mistakes.
